Summer!

Dear Kate,

Week 3 of summer (or so I think it was week 3!) started off fairly boring at our house, with Sister going to Science camp and you and Mommy running errands like no other and packing like crazy.  Mommy was headed off to a 12 day trip to Germany and you were spending that time at Mimi's house!!  We picked Sister up from camp on Wednesday and headed to Mammaw's house where lots of cousins were there to greet you!  Sadly, Mommy had to quickly say goodbye, but I'm pretty sure you didn't blink an eye!  Camp Mimi, here you come!  I tried Facetiming you most days, or at least getting a general report from Mimi, and the general report was always "She's having a blast!"  When I did FaceTime you, you just grinned and would talk to me about swimming that day, or a snack, or whatever you were doing, which was usually breakfast due to the time difference!  Mimi sent a few pics home with you to show all the fun you had, too! 

All the cousins went to Ash=ash's house that first day and had a big ole time on the farm! 

They had a couple baby goats that were the highlight of the day, for sure!

This goat's name is Abby and Sister loved her!  You were very gentle, from what I've been told and loved petting Abby. 

I'm not sure if you did something or the goat did something, but something threw Mimi by surprise!!

So lots of fun at Ash-ash's house.  I think all the cousins but you spent the night, which was probably a good thing.  Your time will come though!  In the meantime, you got to go home and play with Pic-pic!  He loves picking on you and you telling him "NO NO NO!"
You guys also went to the Ripley Water park where Mimi said you loved playing in the water!

Again, with the cousins!!  I think you hung out a little at Aunt G's, but most of the time, you spent with Mimi at her house whether it was watering her flowers, or just playing outside.  You also went to Hayden's 5th birthday party at Bibi's pool.  Another fun day!

Oh and Mimi said you loved walking Nacho and insisted on holding the leash!

You also went with Mimi and Pic-pic to Pic-pic's nephew's son's first birthday party - shew, that was a mouthful.  Anyway, it was a circus themed party and you had a clown make you a 'mo-mo' balloon!! 

You loved your days with Mimi and enjoyed her backyard! 

It was a long 12 days for Mommy being away from you, but I don't think you seemed to mind at all!!  I missed both you and Sister so much and was happy to see you at the airport and give you big ole hugs!!!
